We listen, act, and transform
I am not a cookie-cutter therapist. I believe that each person is on their own mental health and/or substance use journey and deserves evidence-based care tailored to fit their needs and preferences. As a retired law enforcement officer, I have seen what trauma can do to people; however, I have also seen the beauty of resilience when people overcome their obstacles. I am a mental health therapist, Certified First Responder Counselor, and Substance Use Disorder Counselor who uses an eclectic approach to therapy grounded in each client’s specific needs and evidence-based practice. I am an EMDRIA (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing International Association) Approved Therapist and Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Counselor(C-DBT), who also uses Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I enjoy using my expertise, experience, compassion and empathy to best serve my clients. I enjoy working with first responders and other adults living with trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. I look forward to helping you become the most resilient and well-adjusted version of yourself on your wellness journey.
